Marisa Binder
Marisa completed her master’s degree in speech-language pathology at the University of Northern Iowa in 2019 and has since been working with the pediatric population. She has a passion for working with all ages and has a special interest in autism, stuttering, feeding, and the birth-three population. In her spare time, Marisa highly enjoys spending time with family/friends, camping, and exercising as well as watching any binge-worthy T.V. series.
Amanda Budsberg

Amanda Budsberg
Amanda completed her master’s degree in speech-language pathology at Western WA University in 2010 and has been working with the pediatric population every since. Amanda is certified through ASHA and has completed numerous educational courses including the pediatric NDT/Bobath certificate course, Reciprocal Imitation Training (RIT), multiple feeding/dysphagia courses, and extensive training in Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). Amanda is a Pediatric Feeding Association (PFA) member as well as a member of the Apraxia Kids SLP directory. Amanda treats kids ranging in age, but particularly enjoys birth-to-3 home based intervention and working collaboratively with caregivers to support young children advance in their feeding and communication development. Outside of work, Amanda loves adventuring outdoors with her husband and their two children, cooking, and playing music.

Amanda Budsberg
Branden graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2014 and has been practicing as a speech-language pathologist since. He got married in 2018 and welcomed his first child, a daughter, in 2019. Branden plays and coaches volleyball in his spare time and enjoys cheering on the Seattle Sounders and Seattle Seahawks. His areas of interest include early intervention and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

Marissa Cardenas
Marissa received her B.A. and M.S degrees in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Washington State University and is a licensed speech language pathologist.
Marissa is multi-lingual (Spanish, ASL) and has gained experience working with children 0-21 years old in the school and outpatient clinic setting working with individuals with a variety of speech sound disorders, language impairments, feeding, alternative and augmentative communication, and social communication disorders. Outside of work, Marissa enjoys baking, traveling, reading, being active, and spending time with her cat and dog.

Lauren received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees from Washington State University in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She is currently working toward her Certificate of Clinical Competence as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Lauren enjoys working with the pediatric population treating a variety of different disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder and various language disorders. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys going to Priest Lake with family and friends, baking, and being outdoors.

Abby Shelton
Abby earned her Bachelors of Art in Communication Disorders in 2016 and Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2019 both from Eastern Washington University. She is currently in her clinical fellowship year working towards obtaining her Certificate of Clinical Competence. Abby has experience working with patients from infants to geriatrics. Abby’s experience includes a background in ABA therapy, internships in the outpatient setting, private clinic setting, and in the public school setting. Abby enjoys working with a variety of patients and disorders ranging from speech and language delays to social communication and fluency disorders. She continues to gain education in the field of Speech-Language Pathology in order to best serve her clients. In her free time, Abby enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to local restaurants, thrift shopping, and reading.

Megan graduated from Eastern Washington University with her Bachelor’s in Communication Disorders and Sciences in 2016. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Northern Arizona University. She has a passion for working with all ages and has a special interest in the area of early intervention for children birth to three. In her spare time she enjoys shopping, exercising, camping and spending time with family and friends.

Lauren graduated from EWU with a M.S in Communication Sciences & Disorders in 2015. She enjoys working with variety of populations in outpatient pediatrics, especially early birth to three kiddos. In her spare time Lauren loves hiking, camping, and travelling with her husband and dog Fynn. She feels so grateful to have chosen a career that surrounds herself with amazing staff and families every day!

Emma received her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University in 2019 and her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Iowa in 2021.She is currently working toward her Certificate of Clinical Competence as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Emma enjoys working with a variety of ages and disorders ranging from speech and language delays to social communication and aural rehabilitation. In her free time, Emma enjoys spending time with family and friends, quilting, and being at the lake.

Liza received her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Kentucky University. She has experience working with young children in a variety of settings. Her professional areas of interests include early intervention and speech sound disorders. On her days off, you will find Liza spending time with her husband and their two young children exploring the great outdoors. She tries to stay active and enjoys snowboarding, kayaking and biking.

Brittany completed her Masters of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Washington State University in 2022. She has experience within outpatient clinic and school-based settings, and has worked with a variety of disorders. Her areas of professional interest include childhood apraxia of speech, feeding disorders, and early speech and language intervention. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, and exploring all that Spokane and the Inland Northwest have to offer with her husband and two dogs.

Alison grew up in Colville, WA, and received her bachelor’s degree and post-baccalaureate from Western Washington University. She returned to the Inland Northwest to complete her Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Eastern Washington University. In her free time, she can be found with her German shepherd Jax doing home renovations, adventuring in nature, or weight lifting.

In her free time, Carlee enjoys spending time outside where you can find her camping, fishing, or snowboarding.

Mikaela enjoys working with the pediatric population treating a variety of different disorders including early intervention, hearing loss, speech sound disorders, and social communication disorders. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and playing board games with friends.
